The After-School Choir and our Kindergarten students will entertain us with Christmas carols on Dec. 18th at 6pm in the NBH gym! Please plan to attend this wonderful event!
Let us know how we can help you! We have a donation center set up in the Media Center so if you have needs please take advantage of it! If you can't come up to the school, please let your child's teacher know and we will shop for you!!! We will be closing the Donation Center in two weeks.
Approved School Calendar
There will be no changes for the year for K-8- the schedule remains! Some activities have been cancelled or postponed so please check the calendar often. The high school calendar will be finalized in the very near future.
All students will continue their free breakfast and lunch status until January 7, 2019. At that time they will return to their prior lunch status before the disaster relief status change. If you have ANY change in your household or haven’t filled out an application for this school year you are encouraged to do so.
Feel free to contact me with any questions email@example.com
Federal Impact Cards
Federal Impact Cards are going home today. If you are military or a civilian/contract employee on federal property, please fill this out, sign and return by December 10. If you do not work on federal property, please return blank card to the school. Thank you.
Lost and Found
Parents, remember to put your child's FIRST AND LAST NAME on all of their school "stuff". We will immediately return any item found with a student's name on it. Items found that we can't identify will be kept for 1 week and then donated to appropriate agencies.
Yearbook sales are entirely online this year. You can access the yearbook sales site at www.jostens.com All three levels can be found at www.jostens.com. For elementary, search for North Bay Haven Chtr Acad Elem.
Parents, please make sure students remember to wear tennis shoes on days they have PE, especially on dress up days. The kids want to play, but wearing heel boots or any boots and flats can cause injuries.
We are reinstating the dress code on Monday, Dec. 3rd, for staff and students. If any student is still in need of uniforms, let his/her teacher know so we can help. You can visit our donation center in the Media Center to get some uniforms (and regular clothes too, and household items, food, toys, etc).
Non approved uniform outerwear - Any school appropriate coat is fine for the remainder of the 18-19 school year. If your child wears a non uniform coat/sweatshirt/sweater they will need to remove it while in the school building.
NBH MEN-tors program is designed for a dad, or father figure, to be able to come to the school and volunteer for the day. Dads will be given a schedule that will allow them to spend time in their child’s classroom and special areas, along with helping in the lunch room and monitoring hallways. MEN-tors will also be given a free t-shirt and their picture taken with their child to be put on the recognition board. This is a great opportunity to get 8 volunteer hours completed.

We need some volunteers for this coming Friday, November 30th for sno cones. We currently need 3-4 more people to help make this happen. This is a great way for the kids to celebrate and have some down time on Fridays!! Please check the link below to sign up!
We are also continuing to look for volunteers to assist with the distribution center in the media center!
The times are 7am - 5pmthrough in shifts of 2 hours each.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email at email@example.com OR you can text me at 850-814-1102. Phone service is still sketchy so those two options are best at this time.
