North Bay Haven Cares - "Wearing a Red Shirt Day",
Two of our North Bay Haven families have been faced with some extreme hardships this spring.
On February 21, Michael Locke, a 6th grade student at NBHMS hit his head resulting in a severe brain injury leaving him unable to stand or walk in addition to other medical issues. He is in the Texas Children's Hospital TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Rehab Center in Hospital Texas and has a long road of recovery ahead.
Then, on , The Faircloth family's home burned down; they lost everything including a cherished family pet. The Faircloth's have 2 students at NBH: Ricky, in 6th grade and Clayton in 4th.
Please join us on , in supporting these NBH families by participating in "Wearing a Red Shirt Day" for a minimum $3.00 donation. Wearing a red shirt this day is to show these students and their families how much everyone here at NBH Cares! Students are also allowed to wear jeans with their red shirt. Money raised will be divided among these two families.

NBH MS Football-5th Grade Only
Tuesday, May 8 begins spring conditioning and registration for Middle School football. It will continue through Thursday, May 10. The team will meet from NBHMSF@gmail.com. If your child is interested in participating in football for the 2018 season, please have them report to the practice field during that time to pick up a registration packet. The parking lot IS NOT for student drop-off. Please do not pull in the parking lot to drop the students off.
The NUMBERED parking spaces are assigned to teachers. Please do not park in any numbered spaces. There are several spaces that are not numbered - those are available for parents to use.
NBH MEN-tors program is designed for a dad, or father figure, to be able to come to the school and volunteer for the day. Dads will be given a schedule that will allow them to spend time in their child’s classroom and special areas, along with helping in the lunch room and monitoring hallways. MEN-tors will also be given a free t-shirt and their picture taken with their child to be put on the recognition board. This is a great opportunity to get 8 volunteer hours completed!
