Royalty Winner

We do not have a Royalty Winner because the week is so short. Stay tuned for next week's Royalty Winner. There are many fun things in store for a student who is picked from the BUC box!


Movers for Mutts

We are accepting donation for Movers for Mutts, a program to help local animal shelters. They are seeking dish washing soap, liquid laundry detergent, hand soap, bath wipes, paper towels, kitty litter, Purina cat and dog food. This donation will go through Nov. 8th, 2017.


Parking/Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
Parents, do not drop off or pick up your child in a road- this is not allowedYou must pick up your child or drop him/her off in the designated spot or park. This is a huge safety issue. Also, please drive with patience and focus. Phones should be put away and drive slow. Safety is our number one focus during this time so please help us out. Thank you.



Aftercare on Friday, October 13

Aftercare at NBH and BH will be open on Friday, October 13 from 7:00-6:00.  Current aftercare students tuition will be $65.00 for the week, if they attend on Friday and all other drop-in students (employee also), tuition will be $20.00.  Please let Amy Jones (NBH), 630-6463 or Traci Cornett (BH), 596-0820  if you would like to reserve a spot for your child.



Safety Patrol

Deputy Ford is accepting applications for the 2017-2018 Safety Patrol. The application is attached to the eblast. The deadline for applying is Oct. 16th.



Elementary Yearbooks

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Yearbooks are on sale right now for the cheapest price they'll be all year, $35.  You can buy them online at, or you can bring a check or cash to Ms. Lensink in room 112 (in the high school).  Our yearbooks sell out every year.  Don't miss out! We also have a few copies of the 15/16 and 16/17 Elementary Yearbook available in the Elementary office.




NBH MEN-tors program is designed for a dad, or father figure, to be able to come to the school and volunteer for the day. Dads will be given a schedule that will allow them to spend time in their child’s classroom and special areas, along with helping in the lunch room and monitoring hallways. MEN-tors will also be given a free t-shirt and their picture taken with their child to be put on the recognition board. This is a great opportunity to get 8 volunteer hours completed!

FCA Movie Night
North Bay Havens FCA will be hosting a family friendly Christian movie night on October 21st at 6:00 in the Gym. This is a free community event, everyone is welcome! Bring your lawn chairs, bean bags or blankets and join us! Movie will be announced in the next email blast! Hope to see you there! 


Lost and Found

Lost and found items will be kept in the elementary lunchroom for 1 week. Any item with a name on it will be return to the student. After a week we will donate the unclaimed items to a benevolent organization.




Family Bingo Game Night

PTSP presents Family Bingo Game night!

Please join us Thursday, October 19th from 5:30-7:00 for  

Spaghetti Dinner and Family Bingo game.

Prizes for winners include passes to Rockit Lanes, Coconut Creek and Zoo World!

The event is free but please RSVP for an accurate count for food. Dinner includes Spaghetti, salad and roll OR Chicken nuggets and fries and drinks. Please specify in RSVP how many for each type of plate.




We are kicking off our box tops collection! This year we will be having monthly winners based upon who brings in the most box tops each month. The class with the most can earn a special snack!

There will be a box upfront to put box tops in that will be collected at the beginning and end of each month.

Letters and information about box tops will be going home this week!

Walk-A-Thon is in full swing!! Please check the link below for volunteer opportunities to assist with this awesome event!


THANK YOU to all those who came out on Saturday and helped to lay sod around the elementary loop! 72 pallets of sod were placed in 5 1/2 hours due to the 100+ volunteers that came out! It was hard work and the grass is looking great!!
