If your pass isn’t ready you will need to check in at the Elementary office or the MS/HS office. Please have your driver’s license with you. Elementary guests will walk to lunch with their student.

Health Room Reminder
Cold and flu season is upon us! We have had several cases of strep at school as well. Please remember to keep children home when sick: Students with a fever (temperature greater than or equal to 100) or flu/strep-like illness should not return to school until they have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines. Students with symptoms of intestinal illness (diarrhea and vomiting) should be symptom free before returning to school.
Service Road Closed
The NBH service road from the dumpster area to the elementary school will continue to be closed from We are closing this portion of the service road because the elementary students are using the grassy field for recess and PE. To access NBH Elementary School during the hours of pm simply enter and exit at Mill Bayou and Hwy. 390. We appreciate your continued help to ensure the safety of our students.
Parking/Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
Parents, do not drop off or pick up your child in a road- this is not allowed. You must pick up your child or drop him/her off in the designated spot or park. This is a huge safety issue. Also, please drive with patience and focus. Phones should be put away and drive slow. Safety is our number one focus during this time so please help us out. Thank you.
Also, if you are parked by the curb to pick your child up, please stay in your car. We will bring your child to you! Again, Safety is our number one focus during this time!

We also have a few copies of the 15/16 and 16/17 Elementary Yearbook available in the Elementary office.
NBH MEN-tors program is designed for a dad, or father figure, to be able to come to the school and volunteer for the day. Dads will be given a schedule that will allow them to spend time in their child’s classroom and special areas, along with helping in the lunch room and monitoring hallways. MEN-tors will also be given a free t-shirt and their picture taken with their child to be put on the recognition board. This is a great opportunity to get 8 volunteer hours completed!
